Since the beginning of summer, our wilderness has been the setting for countless moments that remind us why we love life in the great outdoors.

Every visit creates lasting memories. For some, it’s harvesting their very first black bear. For others, it’s landing a brilliantly colored native brook trout, catching a trophy northern pike, watching a breathtaking sunset, or seeing a rainbow stretch across the lake.

Here are just a few of the unforgettable moments that made this season so special.

As soon as he arrived, Éric smiled and confidently said:

“When I go picking strawberries, I come home with strawberries. So when I go bear hunting…”

A few hours later, he returned with his bear.

In just two days of hunting, each of the three members of the Mervicini group successfully harvested a bear.

A true hat trick!

We are proud to conclude this season with an outstanding 75% success rate, an achievement that reflects the dedication of everyone involved.

We would also like to sincerely thank every hunter who chose to spend their season with us, as well as Myriam Tessier and the entire Chiens de sang tracking team, whose professionalism and dedication played an invaluable role in this year’s success.

When Bear Season Ends… Fishing Takes Center Stage

The friendly Gingras group returns year after year to share their passion for fishing with us.

Once again this season, they headed home with their limit of beautiful native brook trout. But beyond the fish they caught, it was their smiles that told the real story of another memorable stay.

Sam’s First Trophy Northern Pike

Returning to Pourvoirie Rudy with his father, Sam simply wanted to enjoy a relaxing catch-and-release fishing trip together.

Then came the surprise.

A magnificent northern pike struck his line.

His very first trophy pike!

Moments later, father and son found themselves enjoying an even more unforgettable experience—each battling a northern pike at the very same time.
