The summer of 2023 was marked by an exceptional event at Pourvoirie Rudy: the meeting of two great names in the fishing world! Alain-François Lamontagne, expert in fly fishing, and Norman Byrns, a passionate of hunting and fishing, joined forces to offer viewers a unique experience.

These two experts, who had never met before this project, were brought together thanks to François Thouin and the support of the Federation des Pourvoiries du Québec (Quebec Outfitters) and Tourisme Laurentides.

This is how an exhilarating adventure was born at Pourvoirie Rudy, a true paradise for fishing enthusiasts.

Despite the intense summer heat, Alain-François fully enjoyed his days on our majestic lakes.

One of the highlights of the shoot was his pike fishing session on Lake Shingle, alongside Alain Bollier, co-owner of Pourvoirie Rudy.

Together, they took on the waters, and to their great satisfaction, the pike couldn’t resist the skillfully cast fly-fishing hooks!

This fishing experience was not only a pleasure for the guests but also a true lesson in high-quality fishing techniques in one of Quebec’s most beautiful spots.
